Getting here and around
Perth International Airport has direct flights to destinations across Australia, Asia and Southern Africa, with onward connections to the rest of the world.
Between airport and city
Travel to/from the airport is easy with taxis, shuttle buses, hire cars and local buses available for attendees.
Perth City Shuttle offers a shuttle from the airport to the conference hotel, and to hotels between Brisbane St Northbridge and Thomas St West Perth. Perth City Shuttle is offering a $5 discount for conference delegates. Just type ‘UWA Art-Law Conference 2017’ into the promotional code box when you book online, or mention that code in your communications with Perth City Shuttle.
For those driving to the conference, City of Perth Parking (CPP) is available throughout the cultural precinct, including at the Cultural Centre, on Roe Street and at the State Library.
‘CAT’ buses provide free public transport around the city centre. The Blue CAT stops at the Western Australian Museum around the corner from the Art Gallery venue as well as on James Street just a stone’s throw from the Alex Hotel. Hop on board to travel across the ‘Horseshoe Bridge’ and down to Elizabeth Quay and the Perth CBD.
If you would like to visit the beautiful campus of The University of Western Australia (UWA), buses depart from Elizabeth Quay Bus Station to the University every few minutes. You can purchase tickets from the driver or at the station concourse.
