Entry Requirements for Law at UWA
What are the prerequisites for studying Law at UWA?
The only requirement for admission to study Law at UWA is to have passed English or English Literature at TEE level. However, TEE applicants must enrol in a combined course and must ensure they meet the prerequisities for the non-law course.
For non-TEE applicants, English proficiency requirements must be met.
English Language Competency
All students admitted to degree courses at The University of Western Australia must demonstrate Engligh languge competency: For full details: visit the Admission Centre website for information on acceptable qualifications to meet this requirement.
If I am not accepted into Law through Category A, what course or subjects should I study to better my chances at being accepted into Law through Categories B or C?
If you have not been accepted into Law through Category A, you can commence post-secondary degree studies and apply again through Category B (if you complete a degree) or Category C (after completing one or more years of study). It does not matter what degree you complete or subjects you study prior to applying for Law through Category B and C. Admission into Law is based solely on academic merit.
