You may complete units in any order and at any time provided they conform to course rules.

Sample course pathways for students who want to study overseas for a semester:
We offer recommended course pathways to complete your Bachelor of Laws or Combined course.
These pathways allow you to complete the course as a full-time student in the shortest time; however, remember that overall, you have up to 10 years (undergraduate and graduate) and 12 years (combined) to complete the course. University General Rule 1.2.1.33(1) governs this area.
Some of these pathways include unit overloads that the Faculty has approved. For overloads that depart from the pathways, please consult the overload policy.
If you wish to complete your combined course in five years (six years for Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Engineering; Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Health Science; Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Music), follow the recommended pathways below:
The standard graduate course is three-and-a-half years. If you wish to complete the course in three years, you can follow the recommended pathway below.
The standard single undergraduate course is four years.
