UWA is an accredited Quality Assurance (QA) provider of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities for the legal profession.
Legal practitioners must comply with the Legal Professional Rules which require that you earn 10 CPD points across three competency areas:
- Legal skills and practice: Skills and attributes relevant to or necessary for an individual practitioner’s practice
- Values: Ethics and professional responsibility
- Legal knowledge: Substantive law.
The Faculty of Law offers activities across all three competency areas through our Research Centres including conferences, seminars and evening presentations.
