Accessing files on the web
You can access other files in your W: via the web by adding /filename after ~username in the URL, where filename is the actual name of the file.
For example, if your Bizstudent username is jbloggs and you want to publish a file called mypicture.jpg by placing it in your W:, then the URL will be http://student.biz.uwa.edu.au/~jbloggs/mypicture.jpg
We have made space available for you to set up a personal webpage.
Your online space will be available while you are enrolled - you can publish content in the computer labs by saving your web pages and associated files to the W: drive.
Access to W: drive is not available outside of the Business School at this time. (FTP is not presently available)
The web adddress to access your site is http://student.biz.uwa.edu.au/~username.
By default, the index.htm file will your home page.
Files stored in W: count towards your H: disk quota.
All W: files are accessible on the Internet, so please do not save coursework or assignments there.
Web guidelines
Your home page must conform to the website guidelines. Content that does not follow these guidelines will be removed.
